Not every crisis falls in the same category as the highly visible catastrophes of the Exxon Valdez oil spill or Tylenol poisonings. Some equally devastating organizational crises, such as labor walkouts and consumer boycotts emerge from the social/cultural milieu. The primary difference between them lies in how quickly they hit.
