ABSTRACT
This chapter is meant to provide the reader with a general guide to the generation and use of polyclonal antibodies. The protocols and methods that follow are those used in our laboratories and are by no means the only approaches used for these purposes. Instead they represent one set of cohesive practices that result in the consistent generation of high-quality reagents that have proved useful in many different applications.
