ABSTRACT
Cleaning and assembly experts have earned a fully deserved global reputation for ozone layer protection. Electronics, aerospace, dry cleaning, and other experts participated in the United Nations Environment Programme Technology and Economics Assessment Panel (UNEP TEAP). Industry worldwide developed, shared, and implemented technology so rapidly that almost no regulations specific to solvents were needed.
