ABSTRACT
The terminal motor branch of the radial nerve, the posterior interosseous nerve, passes under the tendinous arch of the supinator muscle. The nerve compression results in the clinical picture of the supinator syndrome described by Kopell and Thompson
and Mumenthaler and Schliack.
