Osseous tumors and tumor-like conditions of the ankle and foot are uncommon. Primary and secondary malignant neoplasms are especially rare. Benign lesions, particularly nonneoplastic tumor-like conditions such as simple and aneurysmal bone cysts, greatly outnumber true neoplasms, both benign and malignant.1-3
