ABSTRACT

The National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) is responsible for administering the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). In its current form, the examination has four parts: step 1, step 2 CK (clinical knowledge), step 2 CS (clinical skills), and step 3. The step 1, step 2 CK, and step 3 examinations all include multiplechoice questions of different degrees of complexity.
