Data from each clinical trial must be collected, recorded, and reported in a systematic and accurate manner. Steps in data management of clinical trials include the following:
1. Developing forms for data collection. 2. Collecting the data. 3. Accurately recording and verifying the data on the appropriate forms. 4. Entering data into the database and assuring the quality of the data (checking
for accuracy). 5. Analyzing the data. 6. Reporting the data.
