We introduce broad aspects of spintronic applications of organic materials. First, we address applications of organic semiconductors as either a spin-conserved tunneling barrier or spin-transporting spacer in ferromagnetorganic semiconductor-ferromagnet heterojunctions, which have been extensively investigated recently. A new class of noble set of magnets, organic-based magnets, is presented for their potential integration into magnetic multilayer devices toward all organic spin valves as well as for other opportunities and new phenomena. Finally, we discuss magnetotransport of organic semiconductors based on the spin conversion model.
