Device-Related Insights into the Aortic Root Anatomy

The author has initiated two studies analyzing the native and diseased aortic root in regard to valved stents or aortic root devices. The first is a transesophageal study comparing disease-induced changes in aortic root geometry in 48 cardiac surgery patients and the latter is a multislice computer tomography (CT) pilot study coauthored by the author.
