ABSTRACT
As the fundamental principles of forensic photography have sustained the test of time, digital imaging has elevated forensic photography into a completely new and profoundly different discipline. Changes and improvements occur on a regular basis. One needs simply to compare the first edition of this textbook to the current writing. Consequently, any treatise or chapter that addresses current levels of photo technology and imaging risks obsolescence by the time publication places it into the public domain. The technology of digital imaging is expanding that rapidly.
