ABSTRACT
Studies by Meyer et al. [1], Lavker et al. [2], and Sullivan et al. [3] have all shown that pigskin has several morphological and functional characteristics comparable to human skin. The availability, the cost, and the ease of handling piglets make the pig the animal of choice for the study of bitemarks.
