ABSTRACT
In 1984 the American Board of Forensic Odontology (ABFO) established guidelines covering the subject of bitemark analysis. It has subsequently updated these guidelines from time to time to include the collection of evidence from the suspect. The guidelines are available on the ABFO’s Web site (www.abfo.org) and are outlined in Appendix 1 of this edition.
