ABSTRACT

The application of nanomedicine in an actual practice or real life can be in many dimensions and facets. The application might be in vivo, in vitro, or in silico measures. In silico technique makes use of computational simulation to answer the study or the research question. The blooming of in silico technique is due to the recent launch of "omics" sciences in bio-chemoinformatics. It is accepted that the application of computational technology is an important factor in drifting the development of nanomedicine researches. Several computer programs can be useful in nanomedicine research. However, an important and easy-to-use program is MATLAB. Simulation of the complex biological processes can be easily performed based on MATLAB. The chapter discusses how MATLAB can be useful in nanomedicine. It summarizes the important reports on the application of MATLAB in nanomedicine. The MATLAB-based tool is mentioned as a cost-effective measure, especially for getting rid of noise in processing.
