Fig. 1 Illustrated are pathways for loss of herbicide from a herbicide application site. Each pathway (arrow) illustrates a particular loss process occurring at some rate constant (k). The importance of each pathway and magnitude of each rate constant will vary substantially between herbicides and environmental conditions.
