ABSTRACT

Jodie and her brother, Jim, attend Bigsville High. e school is named appropriately because it is one, huge complex. ere are 5,600 children, youth, and teenagers who arrive on this campus 5 days a week, 10 months a year. e school board thought it was more “eªcient” to bring everyone together in one central complex. ey thought that neighborhood schools were too expensive. ere are separate buildings for the elementary, middle, and high school, but every student must come together in the traªc pick-up lines, the parking lots, the bus zone, and the cafeteria.
