ABSTRACT
Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy is the delivery of 100% oxygen at pressures greater than atmospheric pressure, which by convention is considered to be 760 mmHg or 1 atm at sea level. e therapeutic eects are dependent upon the increase in both pressure and oxygen delivered to tissues.
