ABSTRACT
Procurement management has a double impact in a supply chain project. Certainly, many projects require the acquisition of project‐related products and services. Examples include software applications, consulting services, facilities and equipment, material handling systems, and computer hardware. On a higher level, collaboration with a trading partner may involve decisions about which trading partners to engage in the effort.
