ABSTRACT

We’ve all heard the sayings “ere’s just not enough hours in a day” or “ere’s so much to do with so little time.” In America, where everyone is hustling and bustling, we must all feel that way at least once a day. Whose idea was it to add so many tasks or obligations to each of our schedules? Was it the invention of electric appliances that freed up our time to do more? Was it the motto of the U.S. Army that states: “Be all that you can be?” Could it have been the march of the feminists who declared that women can do it all and have it all? However it began, the conict of doing so much with so little time has a ected generation aer generation ever since.
