ABSTRACT
Some synonyms for ethics are principles, morals, beliefs, moral principles, moral values, and having a moral code. Other synonyms for ethics include ethical, conscientious, decent, honest, honorable, humane, integrity, moral, noble, (of good) character, proper, respectable, scrupulous, and trustworthy. What more can we ask of criminal justice ocers? One thing we can ask is for them to understand and practice the elements of ethics in their professional and personal lives. A more complex meaning in eight words: “the choices people make between right and wrong.”
