ABSTRACT
Recently, the development cost for mobile phones has been increasing dramatically, i.e., the competition is getting more intense. In this situation, many companies have been trying to develop the mobile phones with innovative shapes beyond usual square-shaped designs. Thus, many designers have been presented diverse concepts on futuristic mobile phones. According to the survey in this study, the future concepts could be classified into wearable and flexible. And their physical user interfaces (UIs) were characterized by screen-flexible, foldable, displayed-by-projector, wrist-attached, wearable-ring and wearable-in-body.
