Describe the evolution of the forensic morgue and the associated elements of the forensic sciences from the community medical laboratory to the large regional forensic center capable of the autopsy, forensic pathology, toxicology, anthropology, trace evidence, and radiology. How did the forensic morgue arise from the hospital laboratory in terms of leadership, academic personnel, elected o•cials, additional scientists, and forensic scientists?
