ABSTRACT
Exposure to moist heat is probably the most effective and controllable method for the disinfection of heat-tolerant items. This method is widely used for respiratory/anaesthetic equipment, surgical instruments and trays, bedpans, urine bottles, linen, crockery and cutlery.
