ABSTRACT
Glenohumeral instability, superior labrum anterior to posterior (SLAP) tears and rotator cuff tears are among the most commonly encountered shoulder diagnoses. Through a combination of patient history, physical examination and well-selected radiographic studies, each of these may be accurately diagnosed and subsequently treated. This chapter describes the diagnosis and surgical management of several important shoulder conditions, and highlights surgical management techniques and technical pearls.
