ABSTRACT
Grišn (2010, p. 5) de¥nes management as “a set of activities-including planning and decision making, organizing, leading, and controlling-directed at an organization’s resources (i.e. human, ¥nancial, physical, and information), with the aim of achieving organizational goals in an ešcient and e¨ective manner.” Management plays a big role in soƒware engineering projects. In the design phase, management refers to a set of activities required to ešciently create quality design artifacts, within schedule and budget constraints. is definition encompasses a broad set of activities that are particular to speci¥c organizations. However, at the core of every organization’s management activities, quality is a focal point.
