2.1 THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF SELF-ADHESION BONDING STRENGTH FOR MISCIBLE POLYMERS

At present, it has been generally acknowledged that in self-adhesion bonding the mechanical properties depend on two factors, namely: the macromolecular entanglement formation in the boundary layer and the macromolecular coils interdiffusion kinetics [1]. However, as a rule, an experimental result of treatment of self bonded layers may give rise to only qualitative analysis. Instead, the present communication purpose is the development of quantitative structural model for self-adhesion bonding strength using the fractal analysis notions.
