ABSTRACT
Over half of the patients diagnosed with inammatory bowel disease (IBD) are of reproductive age, so being aware of the effect of IBD, be it Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, on fertility and fecundity is crucial. Not only can the disease itself interfere with one’s ability to conceive, but also several of the medications used for treating these conditions may play a role in altering conception.
