Cold Atmospheric Pressure Plasma: Technology
ByA. Shashurin
Pages 10

Nonequilibrium atmospheric plasmas attract great attention due to current and potential future applications in medicine. This entry reviews “state-of-the-art” low-frequency nonequilibrium atmospheric plasma jets (NEAPJ) utilizing helium as a working gas. The focus is on physical processes involved in NEAPJ. Measurement methodologies and designs of low-frequency NEAPJ sources are discussed.
