ABSTRACT

Composites are combinations of two or more components mixed together to produce materials with enhanced thermal, mechanical, or electrical properties different from the properties of the individual original components.1,2 A wide range of composite materials such as metals, ceramics, and polymers have been used in construction materials, electronics components, and biomaterials.3-7 With the rapid advance of nanotechnology, new composite materials known as nanocomposites have emerged; at least one component must be smaller than 100 nm.
