ABSTRACT
Vascular malformations comprise a heterogeneous spectrum of lesions that involve all parts of the body and can cause signicant morbidity and even mortality in both adults and children. Confusion about terminology and imaging guidelines can be responsible for improper diagnosis and treatment [1], because therapeutic strategy depends on the type of malformation. Several classication systems have been proposed for vascular anomalies.
