ABSTRACT
Postharvest research aims to improve the availability and quality of horticultural produce by developing new ideas and assessing these ideas by conducting experiments and following the scientic method. The scientic method requires a welldened and reported experiment, which then ensures the validity and denes the scope of any subsequent conclusions.
