ABSTRACT
This chapter summarizes 10 needed clinical studies or surveys of risk factors for and mechanisms of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP). It will be important to fill in the gaps in our knowledge and to then apply the SUDEP Syndrome Cluster ID method to allow for individualized risk factor profiles and personalized preventives.
