ABSTRACT
This chapter includes the information about biodegradation and biodeterioration of plastics and materials on the base of plastics by different bacteria-–Penicillium, Aspergillus, Chaetomium, Fusarium, Alternaria, Trichoderma, Rhizopus, and genus fungi. The contributors are discussing the problems of biostability for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) (rigid), polyamide, polyethylene terephthalate, and materials on the base of these polymers.
