ABSTRACT

Every year, due to the celebration of Seville April Fair, Seville’s city council orders a giant gateway to the fairground enclosure to be built, the design of which is determ ined by the representation of local architectural m odels. This c onstruction, with a size of approxim ately 50 m width x 40 m height, and variable thickness of around 4 m , is com prised of a m esh of pipes connected by clamps, with modular design, and covered by ornamental wood boards (Fig. 1).
