The sustainable restoration of Reinforced Concrete (RC) buildings built after World War II in Europe is nowadays an important issue towards a better society. These buildings are characterized by well-known low energy efficiency, living discomfort and by low architectural and urban quality, and are mainly clustered in vast and degraded urban suburbs (Fig.1a).
