ABSTRACT

A further note: within the author’s clinical practice an extensive in-house training program was provided to employees and contractors. Within the context of this training regime, personal injury lawyers read mock reports written by the  clinicians and conducted workshops where the clinicians would be crossexamined by a skilled lawyer in a mock trial. This was an effective practice preparing the clinicians to be admitted as experts, particularly for the first time. In light of the fact that court transcripts are public record, the cross-examination of an expert becomes a permanent part of the clinician’s curriculum vitae.
