ABSTRACT
As the introduction pointed out, the main purpose of this volume is to explore differences and similarities between citizen participation in local governance in Canada and China by means of several case studies and comparisons of municipal public services in the two countries. In this conclusion, we will summarize the whole book and point out some striking similarities and differences about citizen participation in local governance in the two countries we are studying.
