ABSTRACT

In the State of California, for example, policies on wastewater reclamation and reuse became a benchmark for water reuse. In the 1970s and 1980s, several revolutions occurred across dierent states in the United States and at the same time across the world. International organizations such as World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank began to play active roles in ensuring that countries and organizations considered the role of wastewater reclamation, recycling, and reuse as a measure toward safe and clean sanitation and a contribution toward sound public health. is prompted several sponsored studies to

compare existing laws with growing needs on wastewater reclamation and to recommend solutions [1,28,32]. erefore, studies on progress of establishing guidelines and regulations in parts of Europe were implemented.
