ABSTRACT
Water reuse appears today as one of the most desirable and attractive management practices in urban water management. Treated water and wastewater from urban areas is usually discharged to surface bodies, like lakes, rivers, and streams. Direct recharge of underground aquifers is also an option. Reuse and recycling of treated water and wastewater through surface and groundwater bodies has been proved a valuable additional water source around the world.
