ABSTRACT
Collaborative problem solving is a method where individuals work together to fi nd a mutually acceptable solution to a given matter. The process clarifi es and redefi nes a perceived problem, identifi es novel alternatives and seeks our overlapping interests. No one party dominates the process, and all parties benefi t. This is commonly recognized as a win/win approach to resolving confl icting needs.
