Bayesian Inference on the Brain: Bayesian Solutions to Selected Problems in Neuroimaging

This chapter summarizes certain recent advances in inferential procedures for brain imaging. These advances involve the use of computationally intensive procedures. A goal of this chapter is to demonstrate that although the computational cost of these methods can be significant, it is feasible to employ them, using commodity-grade hardware, to provide Bayesian solutions to problems of realistic complexity in this domain.
