Subjects Patients from the Puget Sound Veterans Affairs (VA) Hospital from August 1993 to April 2008
Exclusion Criteria Patients treated with conservative management, primary closure, or skin grafting
Sample Size A multiyear, retrospective review of 135 sequential patients (227 flap operations); four patients were excluded because of death within 6 months of the surgery.
