Research Questions The Coleman technique for fat grafting provides a systematic and reproducible method for the transplantation of autologous fat, emphasizing the respect for handling tissues and basic sound surgical technique to produce reliable and consistent clinical results. However, several questions remain. What is the efficacy of fat grafting to the face? What is the best process for harvest and application of fat grafts? What are the best clinical uses for fat grafting, in addition to aesthetic indications?
