ABSTRACT

Most of the research on the potentially harmful effects of nonionizing radiation falls within two parts of the electromagnetic spectrum: extremely low-frequency-electromagnetic elds (ELFEMF) and radiofrequency radiation (RFR). Very little attention has been paid to intermediate frequencies (IFs) that fall within the frequency range of 300 Hz to 10 MHz according to the World Health Organization (2005) despite the fact that IFs are now ubiquitous in our environment (Graham, 2000).
