ABSTRACT

I knew the name Ross Adey from the literature and was amazed by the depth of his understanding of physics, medicine, and biology long before I had the chance to meet him in person.

In 1986, I organized in Bulgaria International School electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and biomembranes, and one of the rst invitations was sent to his California ofce. It was the time when neither Internet nor cellular phones were available. One day I was surprised to receive a telephone call from the United States. On the other end of the telephone line was Ross. He apologized that he knows little about Bulgaria, me, and my research and expressed himself in an amazing way of politeness. I briey described the scope of the meeting and gave him some names of invited lecturers. Then he said: “Dear Professor Markov, I will be pleased to be at your service during this week.”
