ABSTRACT
B A 78-year-old man complains of gnawing backache associated with urinary frequency and poor stream for 4 months. Transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) biopsy showed a carcinoma of prostate.
D A 45-year-old woman sustained a blunt injury to her lower chest and upper abdomen while horse riding. She was brought in with hypovolaemic shock. Having been resuscitated according to the ATLS protocol, she is now stable.
