ABSTRACT

B A 40-year-old woman presents with recurrent episodes of right upper quadrant pain with jaundice. Biochemistry shows an obstructive pattern of the jaundice. Five years ago she underwent a panproctocolectomy for ulcerative colitis and has been well since, except for these attacks. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) shows irregular narrowed intra-and extrahepatic bile ducts.
