ABSTRACT
Being poor in a poor country and poor in a rich country are dierent experiences. A poor person in a poor country oen toils from morning to night on unfertile elds or in low-productivity workshops receiving an income that barely keeps malnutrition away. A poor person in a rich country typically is unemployed, idle, and obese.
