ABSTRACT

The formation of highly stereoregular polymers under the action of microheterogeneous Ziegler-Natta catalysts is accompanied by broadening of the polymer MWD [1, 2]. This phenomenon is related to the kinetic heterogeneity of active sites (АСs) [1, 3, 4]. The possible existence of several kinetically nonequivalent ACs of polymerization correlates with the nonuniform particle-size distribution of a catalyst [4]. At present time, much attention is given to study the influence of microheterogeneous catalysts particle size on the properties of polymers [5, 6]. However, almost no detailed study has been made of the effect of particle-size catalysts on their kinetic heterogeneity.
