ABSTRACT
The expression of combining abilities of MS lines and O types as to sugar content, depending on the area of feeding (regular and extended) and the background of mineral fertilizers (normal and elevated) are shown in the article. Lines with stable expression of the characteristic of sugar content are marked. Genotypic structure of the variability of sugar content in different environments is investigated. Components of simple sterile hybrids are differentiated according to their genetic values.
