ABSTRACT

This study investigates the structural changes in synthetic minerals obtained by casting under shock impact, specifically, the characteristic changes in each mineral phase.

It is known that many rocks are formed under intense impact effects (e.g., impact of meteorites). Deposits of minerals, including rare metals and nonmetal structures, are found in impact craters (astrobleme) [1-3]. Additionally, impact metamorphism forms polymorphs of certain minerals that cannot be formed under other conditions, such as the modification of quartz to form coesite and stishovite [4].
